“P&D wins contract for Installation of 10 CCTV cameras in the Upper Thames Street Tunnel in London.” 18.10.2011

P&D have been contracted by Simulation Systems Ltd (SSL) to provide installation of a turnkey solution for 10 CCTV cameras, power & fibre optic back bone network in the Tunnel and integration into TfL’s CCTV network.

Through P&D’s product partner “CA Traffic” we have been contracted to install ANPR camera to 2 sites in the county of Dorset, one at Blandford St Mary and the other at Wareham these cameras will be used by both Police and Local borough council for journey time information.

P&D also delivered within very tight time frames and costing 12 Journey Time monitoring sites for “Transport for Bucks” this included all civils works for camera pole mounting electrical and where required wireless connections to the back office. P&D offered a full turnkey solution from site design, installation and project management for CA Traffic.

P&D are do to install the systems in October/ November 2011 as part of the network upgrades.

After a quiet year with the ITS industry P&D have maintained there partnership with Applied Traffic providing, electrical, civil and slotting cutting services to the Weigh in motion company. Over the last 6 six months P&D have carried out installation of 15 traffic counter sites in Islington London. Numerous maintenance contracts for replacement peizo installations through out the country for VOSA and more planned sites and maintenance in the near future.
